About Dr. Mohlman:

I am a licensed Psychologist in private practice in Austin, Texas. I received my doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. I completed my pre-doctoral internship in pediatric psychology at The Children's Hospital in Denver, Colorado, and a post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric psychology/neuropsychology at Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas. Upon completion of my formal training, I moved to Austin and joined a group practice providing individual and family therapy, as well as psychological assessment, for children and adults who were involved with Child Protective Services. I then began employment at Travis County Juvenile Probation Department where I served as Chief Psychologist in the Assessment Center for several years prior to returning to private practice. I have also taught graduate psychology students at St. Edward's University. In addition, I have served our community to improve mental health services as a member of the Mayor's Mental Health Task Force Monitoring Committee. I am also a member of the American Psychological Association.
Throughout my training, I have specialized in working with children, adolescents, and families. I have provided individual, family, and group therapy, as well as psychological and neuropsychological evaluation, in a variety of settings including schools, community-based clinics, inpatient psychiatric units, psychiatric day treatment, inpatient and outpatient medical clinics, emergency rooms, and juvenile probation. I believe my extensive work with children, adolescents, and families in a variety of settings has provided me with a broad repertoire of clinical experience and familiarity with multiple systems.
Furthermore, I have provided career counseling/assessment and individual therapy for college students in a university counseling center.
